Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
2 years, but my clients say that they don't believe me!
What is your primary product or service?
Therapeutic massage
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Repetitive motion injuries led me to seek chiropractic care. I recieved massage therapy treatments in conjunction with my chiropractic treatments, and that is when I realized that massage therapy had so much to offer. After I decided to become a therapist, the experiences that I had as a massage student really changed my life. I hope that I am able to use my own life experiences to relate to people from all different walks of life, and my experience with massage therapies specifically, to help them learn about all of the wonderful opportunities that lie within.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
It's all about quality.
At Papillon Therapeutic Massage, you can expect your therapist to spend quality time with you, exploring your reasons for seeking a massage, and asking fundamental questions that will help her to provide the most productive session possible. Your therapist puts a limit on the number of massage sessions that she provides everyday, to ensure that she has the ability to focus on each and every client's individual needs, without feeling the emotional and physical drain that can come from giving too much.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At this time, I am located in a very comfortable and unique private studio. This is actually a historic little townhome that serves as a residence as well. This provides me the opportunity to offer my clients special creature comforts like a fresh cup of specialty tea, a quiet moment on a beautiful, landscaped patio, or even a quick shower for a business person passing through town. Special events and evening attractions are in the planning process.
Provide detailed directions to your location
My studio is located on a quiet, private street, directly across from the oil change bay at Bob's Car Wash. Though my physical address is East Main St., I am geographically situated on Hannon Court.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Check
Which areas do you service?
Spartanburg, Boiling Springs, and surrounding areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Esther Miller, LMT, is a member of the AMTA and is certified by the NCBTMB. SC lic 5517
What are your hours of operation?
By appointment only, but very flexible.
